Is there someone in your life you're interested in but it just hasn't clicked yet? Or it's been a while since your last relationship and your ready for a new one? or perhaps your relationship is just going along fine but you're ready for more?
Transits are the moving planets making aspects or angles to your natal charts' planetary positions. When there's a transit such as a stationing planet it counts as a double or even a triple transit! This has a very strong effect on your natal chart.
So, whenever I see that Venus is about to station and go retrograde I'm always curious to see what part of my chart (and others) it will be affecting. This can be the start of something big. If Venus stations (which means it slows down, stops, and turns and moves or appears to - in reverse) and makes an aspect to the Ascendant/Descendant Angle, Jupiter, Mars, Pluto, Venus, Neptune, Part of Marriage, or even the Sun/Moon midpoint, I would be thinking that Love is in the air! This could be the start of a new romance, or solidifying a current relationship, or time a wedding/engagement etc.
This coming July (2007), Venus is going to begin her stationing process by stationing at 2 degrees 57 minutes of Virgo (July 27th)and retrograde until Sept. 8th when she'll station at 16 degrees 36 minutes of Leo, and then back to forward motion again. These two positions of her stationing are very strong transits and can/will set off many romances in the coming months ahead. If you are currently in a relationship, or you are very interested in someone but it hasn't clicked yet, this might be the ripe time for it to become a relationship or even a more committed one!
I've seen many charts recently where there are natal positions about to be contacted by Venus' station.
In one person's chart it's natal Pluto and her Part of Marriage that is about to be aspected by Venus' station. This would indicate a strong or intense love relationship possibly leading to marriage is on the horizon. Another chart I saw had stationing Venus going right over her Solar Arc Ascendant and sextiling her natal Mars. A third chart showed stationing Venus conjunct the Sun/Moon midpoint. This is also a strong indication of a love relationship either beginning or it's time to make a commitment in an existing one!
If you have any natal positions that are within 3 degrees (and even up to 5) you are the most likely a candidate for love and romance !
