Personal Development - Religion Connected to Science - Short Review by Kristian Hahndel
In many religious texts it is suggested that our body is the finite component to and infinite soul which exists within us all. This infinite source is sometimes referred to as our spirit, our soul, our higher conscious, our chakra, etc. What ever your spiritual beliefs are, define the words associated to this divine part of ourselves. In essences we are talking about the same thing with different definitions. For simplicity sake why don't we call it our energy source?
Now recently I was studying the laws of thermodynamics and energy transfers and notice something which links both religion and science together. This was the conservation of energy principle. The conservation of energy principle is a proven theory which has been applied to science throughout the decades. It has revolutionised our understanding of energy, work and heat transfer. It has been the fundamental key to many advances in technology
According to the conservation of energy principle, "energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it simply changes form". We can relate this principle to other principles of religion, for example, couldn't it be associated with re-incarnation. It is possible that all religious text talk about the conservation of energy principle. We well associate this science to Christianity for argument sake. It has been said that our spirit, our soul leaves the body and ascends to heaven. Where our physical counterpart turns to dust over time and return to the earth. I believe this is a direct link to the conservation of energy principle. That there is a part of our self that can't be destroyed, that purely changes form.
If this is so, how can we use this infinite power to serve ourselves and the lives of others? Scientist's has acknowledged that our subconscious mind is 30,000 times greater than our conscious mind. Our subconscious controls everything in our body with exact precision. It keeps our heart beating it repairs our skin and bones. It fights possible viruses and infections everyday. Is it not true that our subconscious mind is our gut feeling, and intuition component of ourselves? Practically our subconscious mind is our soul, is our spirit, or at least somehow related and interconnected.
Why not use this tool to create extra ordinary things in our life. Every religious text refers to it. Science acknowledges it. Both are interconnected by many principles including the conservation of energy. Our subconscious mind is our direct link to our source in my opinion. It is our infinite spirit. It is our inner god and produces immaculate results in our life everyday.
