Its time for the green-haired summoner to take the spotlight.
NOTE - Sadly, i saved over the Demon Wall fight, so i can't show that.
NOTE 2!! Make sure you are done with everything you want in the Underworld because you can never return after you reach the surface.
As you can guess from the title, Rydia's summons are not available to use, meaning that she is a full-on black mage for her chapter unless you find a monster summon drop. If you remember in FFIV, she wasn't a really good physical attacker and she couldn't take any hits due to her really low HP. To back her up is the game's 2nd 'newest' character, Luca the Dwarf Princess. Luca was a non-playable character in FFIV. She had the key to the Sealed Cave and was accompanied by her dolls Calca and Brina, which then came to life to kill you thanks to Golbez. She is the heavy hitter here, with strong physical attacks. She could be seen as the new Cid, but without the slow speed. She has the skill Analyze, which is a free Libra spell. Pretty useless, but at less now you havea black mage to exploit weaknesses. She also has 'Big Throw' which let's throw her weapon from the back row for full damage. 1000 times better than Cid's Risk Strike. She and Rydia can do the Lightning brain Buster attack, which is Big Throw + Black magic damage to one enemy.
Also playable for half the chapter are the dolls, Calca (Blue Mage) and Brina (Dancer). Both have weak attacks, and their special abilities are random spells on you or the enemies. Calca uses attacks found by enemies, but mostly status effects that miss. Brina, on the other hand, is this tale's source for healing as her dances do a random positive effect on the party, and half of the dances can heal you. You lose them for the rest of the chapter shortly before this point. You can lose them for the game unless you have the right items. Do yourself a favor: go to Slyph Cave before Sealed Cave, get the Clown Clothes, equip them on Brina and watch her speed ****ing skyrocket.
in this fight, Calca and brina were knocked out and now go haywire, attacking Rydia and Luca. This is Luca's fight, and Rydia CANNOT do anything but defend (literally all her options are unavailable). Take out Calca first has he has for some reason became 1000 times more powerful than when you had him and he can do damage. A couple of hits take them out.
Then, the Red Wings blow you out of the sky and you land on Argant, the final location in this Tale.
