Like a Butterfly in a Garden Full of Flowers by Melinda Sorensson
Oh, this mind alights from one subject to another, there is no escaping, but why escape? Why not rather accept? This moment is as perfect as it should be, because God wills it. It is as it should be, perfect and complete.
We are drowned by so many voices in our heads; we fail to see that which is the One Voice. So many desires, wants, of physical comfort, of sensuality, of appetites of all kinds all arising from the illusion of a solid physical body. All of the Masters have said this again and again and again. There is no solid entity. I suppose that the best way to envision this is a plasma of some sort where we all are, and although there are some differences between the composition of the plasma and ourselves, enough for a form to emerge, there is enough similarity that this form is really merged with the plasma. I suppose that this only makes sense in my own mind. Were I to draw a picture of anything, there will be no solid lines to separate the object from the surroundings. I would draw only a mere outline merging with the mist.
It is raining. I love the rain. I always think that it is God's way of communicating with us, raining his love upon us, so perfect, so forgiving and forgetting, so utterly all encompassing. All we have to do is to remember that we deserve to be loved because God made us out of love for humanity, and there is nothing we can do to not merit that love. It is always a given, and it is vanity to think of ourselves as undeserving of love.
"Jesus Wept". For even amongst the miracles he performed in the name of the Father, people still did not believe.
A kind and merciful God does not permit suffering and there is no paradox. Our sufferings are from our own minds. If we clear our minds, we will hear the symphony of the universe, and the voice of God. But how does one reach this? First have a clean and pure heart, and then obtain a serene and peaceful mind. In two words, discipline and tenacity. There is no other way.
